A project to support sound engineers, producers and musicians from 10 sub-cities of Addis Ababa and selected regional cities of Ethiopia.
This project is intended to raise the level of professionalism among sound engineers and producers who have taken music as a source of their livelyhoods. The project intends to benefit 10-14 program participants, in the first phase, on the areas of studio techniques such as studio recording, sound engineering techniques in studio and live stage; business managements and copyright policy and contract management. The project runs in two phases from November 2014-may 2016.
On site right now as instructors are Henrik Sollien and Surafel Mulualem.
The project is part of Cultural Enablers; the umbrella program which encompasses 11- sub projects with fundings from for ex. Sida and the Culture Foundation of the Swedish Postcode Lottery.
