We want to invite you to a webinar addressing the conditions for musicians, journalists, professionals and civil servants working with culture in North Africa during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parts of Asia, Europe and North America have already felt the shock of the impact of the Covid-19 virus, but most of the effects lie ahead in the near future in Africa: it will hit a lot harder than it has so far.

There’s no time to lose in preparing what needs to be done if the best precautionary steps are to be took in this situation. We will adress such themes as the economic challenges for individual artists and musicians in North Africa at the moment, how does the virus outbreak and measures to combat it affect event organizer and how do we simultaneously protect and promote artistic freedom in North Africa in this time?
